This spring, our VP and Director of Marketing & Sales (and Ceramic Engineer!), Steven Ashlock, went back to school—but this time as an instructor!
Steven was invited by the Investment Casting Institute to serve as a guest lecturer in their Investment Casting Specialist – Industry Certification Course at Pittsburg State University. Over 10 days in Pittsburg, Kansas, Steven taught hands-on labs and modules, sharing his passion for ceramics engineering and mentoring other industry professionals pursuing certification. One highlight: The Slurry Makeup Control module and lab, where Steven taught students methods to make and test slurry—fun times!
We’re proud of Steven for giving back to the industry and helping shape the next generation of investment casting specialists and engineers!
